ENEnglish

Good morning, Ms. Garcia. I'm with the campaign for Assembly District 27.

I saw you voted in the last three elections — thank you for that.

We're focused on clean water for Merced and schools that work for our families.

Can we count on your vote on November 3rd?

Scope

What this is. What this isn't.

The campaign tool market is crowded. Here's where we fit, in plain language — and where we don't.

+What this is
  • 01A modern voter file, filtered in the browser.
  • 02BISG ethnicity scoring grounded in Census + ACS data.
  • 03Voter CRM, saved universes, and consultant workspaces in the same app.
  • 04Canvass mode, walk packets, outreach logging, and follow-up queues.
  • 05Priced so a first-time candidate can actually buy it.
What this isn't
  • 01A replacement for your field team's judgment.
  • 02A fundraising, website, or event-management suite.
  • 03A scraped or resold voter file — bring your own SoS file.
  • 04A substitute for campaign delivery accounts when direct email or SMS credentials are required.
  • 05An end-around on § 2194. Buyer qualification still applies.

How it works

Three steps. No implementation overhead.

STEP 01

Request access

Tell us your campaign, role, and race. We verify eligibility under Cal. Elec. Code § 2194 before turning on access. Nothing automated - a human reads every request.

STEP 02

Bring your SoS file

Drop in the California Secretary of State voter file you already purchased. You pick refresh cadence. We don't resell the file.

STEP 03

Work the race

Open the app. Build a segment. Save the universe, run voter CRM, build packets, canvass offline, and hand off outreach without rebuilding the list in three other tools.

FAQ

Questions worth answering up front.

If yours isn't answered below, write to hello@cavoter.io. A human reads it.

Yes, under Cal. Elec. Code § 2194. Access is gated on buyer qualification at sign-up — we verify you're a candidate, committee, or academic/journalistic user before turning on the data. The same law the Secretary of State uses to decide whether to sell you the file.
Each campaign manages its own Secretary of State refresh cadence — weekly, monthly, whatever you paid for. We surface the refresh date prominently in the UI so you never ship outreach against stale data.
Yes. Any California candidate or committee qualifying under § 2194 — party, no party, ballot measure, judicial, school board, water district. We don't gatekeep by ideology. The law doesn't either.
Yes. CSV exports, direct-mail householding, walk packets, canvass mode, and logged outreach workflows are live. Direct email send is live. SMS and phone-bank workflows can run through exports now and direct integrations where campaign credentials are configured.
We're in private beta now, onboarding verified campaigns one at a time. Access requests get reviewed in the order we can verify them. No firm public-launch date yet — we're not going to rush a voter tool.
Built in California by a small team. Questions go to a human, not a ticketing queue.
